Message from the Chairman
On behalf of the
Officers and Directors of our Chapter, I want to take this opportunity to
express my personal appreciation for the support and confidence of our past
officers, members and community leaders with whom we have worked to achieve
our many successes.
The last three years
have been very exciting and productive for our Chapter and we have
accomplished a great deal. We have planned and coordinated some excellent
programs in conjunction with National Cause, the Society’s Child
Identification Program. In that vein, it is my hope, to have our Chapter
continue to spearhead this program throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area
as a permanent part of our Community activities. I have received excellent
support from the Crimes Against Children Unit of the Atlanta Division
of the FBI and am looking forward to having many of you step up and
participate in future programs at your local schools, churches and community
organizations.
Another of our notable
accomplishments has been our financial assistance program for the families
of fallen law enforcement officers spearheaded by Ronnie Webb and Brooke
Blake. The upcoming golf tournament with our partners, the Georgia FBI
National Academy Associates should help our efforts to sustain this worthy
program.
Any changes in your
contact information, including telephone numbers, email addresses and home
or business addresses should continue to be directed to me at

Rick Dean, Jim
Blasingame, Bill Hinshaw and Ted Jackson continue to serve as trusted
advisors. Me, with three former SAC’s and the “Dean” of OCIDEF Coordinators
trying to take care of our business remains mind-boggling! |
